Walpole is a non-profit-making organisation that furthers the interests of the British luxury by harnessing and sharing the collective knowledge, experience and resources of the membership.
Formed in 1990 by top tier British companies, including British Airways, Chewton Glen. Coutts & Co, DAKS Simpson, the Financial Times, The Savoy Group and William Grant & Sons, the membership provides a community for the exchange of best practice ideas to drive business development in both UK and export markets.

Walpole announces 2009 Award Winners and a Medal of Excellence for Mario Testino
Walpole has announced the award winners for its annual awards ceremony which took place on Monday 16th November 2009 at the Banqueting House in Whitehall. Each year, the awards recognise some of the world’s most outstanding brands and individuals. This year Walpole awarded the Medal of Excellence to the globally acclaimed photographer, Mario Testino.

WALPOLE ANNOUNCES LUXURY'S FINEST IN 2009
The Walpole Awards for Excellence in association Kuoni are awarded annually to those brands who exemplify luxury and commitment to British Excellence by their work across luxury, design and culture both internationally and within Britain. The Medal of Excellence is also awarded to an individual who has influenced Britain's luxury, creative and cultural industries over a lifetime.
