Marketing and Communication Director's Dinner

The inaugural Walpole Luxury Dinner for Marketing and Communications Directors was held on Monday 17th March, at Home House. Attended by over 70 British Luxury Marketers, the event was held to facilitate Networking and information sharing across the luxury industry. 

Guests were treated to an entertaining speech by Luke Johnson, Chairman of Channel 4 Television and Risk Capital Partners, who gave an amusing insight to the pitfalls and triumphs of running a successful business.

National Portrait Gallery

Walpole Friends, Arts & Business hosted a very special Meet the Members event at The National Portrait Gallery on Wednesday 31 October.

The breakfast marked the launch of Arts & Business' latest research, conducted by Ledbury Research, exploring the ways in which luxury brands and cultural organisations work together. The presentation included highlights of the research presented by Marc Cohen of Ledbury Research and a case study discussion with the National Portrait Gallery and Krug.

Walpole Meet The Members Event With Boodles

The second "Meet the Members" event took place with Boodles to launch the opening of their New Bond Street Store. The store, designed by Eva Jiricna, has a wonderful new, contemporary space in which to house all the collections from Boodles.

Over 70 members attended the annual member chief executives' dinner, held at The Lanesborough. John Micklethwait, Editor of The Economist spoke on the issues surrounding globalisation.

Networking Evening And McKinsey Presentation On - The Luxury Consumer

Over 100 people, representing 40 member companies attended the networking evening at Home House. The evening began with a presentation by Johanna Waterous and Demetra Pinsent of McKinsey & Company of the results of their ‘Luxury Customer’ survey This was followed by an opportunity for members to network It was a lively and productive event and the feedback from the members has been excellent, surpassing many of their expectations.
