Guy Salter, Deputy Chairman, of Walpole commented:
"These awards highlighted Britain's position as a hothouse of creative talent encompassing both up and coming designers and world class brands. British Luxury really has come of Age. This year Walpole adopted a different approach recognising that the power of celebrity has led to the celebrities themselves becoming world famous brands. Kate Moss is a case in point and her inclusion as a finalist for the British Luxury Brand reflects this trend." | Dubbed 'The Luxury Oscars', the Walpole 2006 awards ceremony recognised some of the World's outstanding brands and individuals.
